If you don’t get your system desludged regularly, it may cause blockages in your pumps, filters, pipes and irrigation field, and in some situations, it may also cause raw sewage to flow in your backyard. This will result in emergency, costly repairs!

SSA has a fleet of vac trucks, ready to pump-out your septic system. We are available for either a pre-booked, scheduled desludge (also known as a septic tank clean), or for emergency pump-outs of flooded systems.

When booking in a desludge, there are a few things we need to know ahead of time to make sure we send out the right-sized truck, extra hoses, and allow the right amount of time for the job, such as:

What capacity (how many litres) are your tanks (if known)?
Is your property easily accessible or is there restricted access?
Are your tanks more than 40m from where we can park our trucks?
Are the lids to your tanks exposed and accessible, or are they are buried underground?
