Over the past 20 years, SSA has installed more than 3,000 septics systems for homes and businesses of all sizes. 

We understand that your septic is the last thing you want to be thinking about. But take it from us, it’s the only thing you will be thinking about if something goes wrong. We have perfected our installation techniques onsite and we take a sensitive approach to installation, using specialised equipment and techniques that help reduce the impact to your premises, and the local environment, wherever possible. In addition to this, we have honed our back-end systems that support the entire installation process, from start to finish. 

Installation Checklist

We have simplified our 66-step installation process (yes, that’s right, 66 steps!) into 10 key stages below.

Quotation

SSA Fee proposal and Ts&Cs are signed and returned to the office along with deposit payment.

Design

SSA creates the Septic Site Plan for client approval.

Septic PermitToInstall (PTI) Application

SSA’s team collates relevant documentation, pays permit fee, and lodges applications with local council health department.

Council Acceptance

Once council has reviewed the application and inspected site, a Permit to Install is issued.

Site Inspection, pre-installation

SSA sets-out location of tanks and effluent field onsite.

Installation

High quality installation takes place onsite. SSA typically installs at ‘lock-up’ stage, unless there are access issues.

Commissioning

SSA commissions the system and generates all relevant Compliance Certificates.

PermittoUse (PTU) Application 

SSA lodges relevant documentation and certificates to council to obtain PTU.

Council issues PTU

PTU must be obtained before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.

Ongoing Maintenance

Client receives compliance documentation, home owner manuals, fact sheets and SSA sets up ongoing maintenance to ensure system remains compliant.
